Who Are We and What Makes Us Different?

M&A PROFESSIONALS, INC., is a team of merger and acquisition professionals serving mid-market businesses in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada and southern California. We describe mid-market businesses as those with annual revenues between $2,000,000 and $30,000,000 or more.
M&A professionals are specialists. We do not specialize in selling small businesses as business brokers do. Nor are we investment bankers like the “Merrill Lynches” of the financial world who handle much larger transactions. We are mid-market specialists who have a unique set of skills that caters specifically to mid-market companies.

Through proper preparation, packaging, presentation and negotiation, we help our clients receive premium “investment value” instead of “fair market value” for their businesses. To do so requires seasoned M&A professionals who understand what it takes to get top dollar for a business. Every move we make is aimed at increasing the selling price of your business—that’s our business.

Even though Wall Street analysts valued Dial Corp. at $2 billion and pegged the likely suitors, Dial hired Goldman Sachs & Co. to market the company. They did this because it’s what Goldman & Sachs does—that’s their business.

When it’s time for you to sell your business, will you choose to be represented by a business broker who is also representing a mom and pop businesses or by a firm that specializes in the mid-market arena, a whole different arena? Whoever you choose, evaluate their method of packaging the business—demand to see samples. Interview them—determine the depth of their experience, their knowledge of business and check their professional qualifications and credentials. Good representation will add value to the transction and pay for itself many times over.
